What Is BMW Anti-Dazzle?

BMW Anti-Dazzle, also known as Glare-Free High Beam, NGHB, or VLD, allows continuous use of high beams without blinding other drivers.

Instead of switching high beams on and off, BMW’s adaptive headlights dynamically shape the light beam, selectively masking areas around other vehicles while keeping the rest of the road fully illuminated.

How It Works:

• Front-facing camera detects vehicles ahead and oncoming traffic

• Headlights automatically create shaded zones around detected vehicles

• Remaining road area stays illuminated with full high-beam intensity

• System adjusts continuously in real time
