RACODINGS provides remote vehicle coding, activation and programming services. Because our services are digital and performed live on your vehicle, this policy explains when you can cancel, when a refund applies, and how to request one.
1. Check compatibility before you order
Every feature depends on your vehicle’s model, production date, head unit and software version. Before ordering, send us your VIN or model details on WhatsApp or at info@racodings.com and we will confirm compatibility. If we confirm a service as compatible and it then cannot be completed on your vehicle, you will receive a full refund.
2. Cancelling or rescheduling before your session
- You can cancel any order for a full refund at any time before your remote session starts.
- You can reschedule once at no charge if you let us know at least 12 hours before your session.
3. After the session
- Service completed successfully: once the feature has been coded and is working, the service has been delivered and is not refundable.
- Service could not be completed on our side: we will either retry at no extra cost or issue a full refund, whichever you prefer.
- Partially completed orders: for orders with several features or add-ons, we refund any item we could not deliver.
4. When a refund does not apply
- Incorrect vehicle details were provided, or hardware required for the feature is missing and was not disclosed.
- The session could not go ahead because of your equipment, cable or internet connection. In that case we will offer you one new session at no charge.
- You missed your session without notice. We will offer one new session; a second missed session is not refundable.
- A feature stopped working later because of a dealer visit, software update or other changes made to the vehicle after our session. We can re-code it at 50% of the original service price.
- Change of mind after a feature has been successfully coded.
5. Reversing a coding change
Most coding changes can be reversed. If you want a feature removed or your vehicle returned to its previous configuration, we will do this free of charge within 14 days of your session. After 14 days, reversal is charged as a standard coding session.
6. How to request a refund
Email info@racodings.com or message us on WhatsApp with your order number and the reason for your request. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method (PayPal or card) within 5–7 business days. Your bank or PayPal may take additional time to show the credit.
